Schnucks Markets, Inc. is seeking a bakery clerk to provide friendly service, assist customers with product selections, slice and wrap bread, bake cookies, and stock displays. Training is provided at store level.

This role requires regular attendance, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, standing 4–8 hours, and adherence to safety procedures. Training provided at store level, with emphasis on sanitation and teamwork in a fast-paced bakery setting. Schnucks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Responsabilités

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Assist customers with product selections, including suggestive selling.
• Process incoming products from bakery plant and direct-store-delivery vendors.
• Package fresh baked products.
• Slice and wrap fresh bread.
• Stock product displays in cases and on shelves; rotate products.
• Prepare out-dated product for thrift stores.
• Order decorated cakes from the bakery plant.
• Bake cookies.
• Constant cleaning of work area and equipment following company safety and sanitation procedures.
• Other duties will be assigned at the discretion of the store management
