Job summary

H.E.B. is seeking a Sales Rep in Fort Worth, TX to stock and sell products to retail customers. You will take orders on assigned products to maximize sales, merchandise, and maintain shelf conditions.

Must be able to work under supervision and learn procedures and tools used in the department. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of experience, strong customer service skills, and a passion for food. This is a fast-paced role requiring the ability to work in extreme temperatures and maintain safety

Qualifications

• Knowledge of department products, food preparation, and equipment used preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of specialty food products and food preparation essential.
• Strong customer service skills and excellent interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide good customer service to help customers.
• Organize, clean, and prepare back area for deliveries.
• Keep sales floor uncluttered and free from spills.
• Stock and rotate items as needed.
• Reset products and maintain shelf tag integrity.
• Check shipments for freshness and quality; remove out-of-date items.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company standards for safety and sanitation.
• Maintain shrink, safety, and inventory control standards.
• Assist in merchandising the department and use suggestive selling to maximize sales.
