Rosauers Supermarkets in Missoula, MT is seeking a Bakery Sales Clerk to greet customers, advise on pastries, and assist with packaging and payments. You’ll monitor inventory, maintain attractive displays, and coordinate with the Baker to ensure freshness and quality.

• Must have prior experience in a bakery or retail setting.
• Ability to make knowledgeable product recommendations to customers.
• Ability to create and maintain appealing bakery displays to drive sales.

Responsabilidades

• Create a welcoming and positive customer experience at the bakery counter.
• Advise customers on baked goods selection and take orders.
• Weigh, price, and package items; process payments.
• Manage baking ingredients inventory and request stock.
• Track ingredient expiry dates and plan usage accordingly.
• Monitor display when items are available and visually appealing.
• Report low stock to the Baker promptly.
• Maintain a clean and tidy counter; perform other duties as needed.
• Clean the kitchen after hours and prep for the next day.
• Handle customer complaints and relay to the Baker.
• Perform other duties to support company success.

From helping customers select their favorite pastries to offering recommendations and answering questions about our delectable offerings, you'll be the go-to person for all things bakery-related.

Work Schedule: Early Morning

What You'll Do

• Creating a welcoming and positive customer experience at the bakery counter.
• Advising customers on baked goods selection and taking orders.
• Weighing, pricing, and packaging purchased items, as well as processing payments.
• Managing the baking ingredients inventory and requesting the purchase of stock.
• Tracking ingredient expiry dates and arranging their use accordingly.
• Monitoring the visual appeal and the availability of baked goods on display.
• Reporting low baked goods stock to the Baker in a timely manner.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy baked goods counter and performing other duties on request.
• Cleaning the kitchen after business hours and preparing it for the next day.
• Managing customer complaints and relaying them to the Baker.
• Perform other duties to ensure the overall success of our company.
