Hannaford in Esperance, NY is seeking a Bakery Associate to support daily production and display tasks in our store. You will bake, prepare, and package bakery items while maintaining sanitation and safety standards, and provide friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires effective communication, ability to work with a team, and willingness to learn multiple bakery tasks. Candidates should meet minimum age requirements and be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Observe and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain neat personal appearance and comply with appearance policy.
• Assist in special projects and other tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Assist in training other associates when assigned.
• Maintain solid communication within department and organization.
• Follow management planning guidelines to maintain productivity.
• Support safety standards and report equipment issues.
• Treat coworkers with fairness, dignity and respect.
• Develop product knowledge in bakery items (rolls, desserts, cakes, etc.).
• Observe sanitation and food safety standards.
• Prepare, proof, and bake products as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
