Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Lewiston, ME is seeking a production operator to support all phases of the bakery production process, including operating automated equipment, diagnosing machinery issues, and participating in preventative maintenance and sanitation.

Flexibility to rotate assignments is required. Responsibilities include managing schedules, operating scales and dividers, and ensuring quality and safety standards across the line.

Qualifications

• Two years related bakery or production experience.
• High school diploma or equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Checks production work schedules for job assignment and work reporting time.
• When job assignment is SCALER/DIVIDER OPERATOR, responsibilities include but are not limited to: Checks and maintains production schedule.
• Scales ingredients; loads, operates and unloads mixer(s); operates dough pump.
• Checks posted scaling weights and equipment standards; adjusts and operates one pocket and six pocket dividers.
• Performs start-up/shut down sanitation and operator’s preventative maintenance; ensures work area is clean and organized.
