Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a technical operator to support safe, efficient bakery production across multiple areas, including dough mixing, ovens, and conveyors. You will monitor equipment, ensure product quality, and maintain accurate documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Starting pay is $27.25/hour with a $3.00/hour premium for PM shifts; training on one of three 8-hour shifts will be provided. Nestlé offers comprehensive benefits after 30 days and quarterly incentives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills to read scales, production documents, and lot numbers.
• Ability to follow training, safety, and forklift procedures as applicable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with safety and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain steady ingredient, dough, crust, pan, and product flow to prevent interruptions.
• Operate and monitor bakery equipment to support quality and output.
• Identify and communicate equipment, process, safety, or quality concerns promptly.
• Minimize downtime, waste, safety risks, and non-conforming product through accurate documentation.
• Support sanitation, changeovers, shutdowns, audits, and department readiness.
