Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking a bakery associate to scale, mix and bake a variety of bakery goods. The role supports inventory management and maintains cleanliness and appearance of the bakery department. Shifts run 6–8 hours between 3:00 am and 10:00 pm in a 24/7 operation.

You will produce breads, cakes, and pastries, operate and clean equipment, and ensure quality by following recipes and safety guidelines. The role emphasizes customer service and teamwork in a busy store setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Handlers Certification (per State Laws).
• Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced bakery.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers with bakery products.
• Produce bakery products for retail stores.
• Operate and clean bakery equipment.
• Ensure product freshness using FIFO and proper labeling.
• Open and close bakery according to procedures.
• Assist with special orders and cake decoration.
