Job summary

Haggen, Inc. is seeking a bakery department crew lead to train and mentor staff while preparing fresh in-store bakery products. You will coordinate orders, manage displays, and ensure safety and freshness standards across the department.

The role includes scheduling, training, and collaborating with team members to deliver excellent guest service seven days a week, with potential weekend shifts and holidays.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of department operations and product variety.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures for safe handling of knives and equipment.
• Strong work ethic with time management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office for records and scheduling.
• Good communication with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates, trains and mentors bakery department crew members.
• Prepares fresh produce for sale and maintains display freshness.
• Coordinates with leadership to plan schedules and coaching.
• Conducts daily team huddles to communicate goals and guest service expectations.
• Writes orders, checks loads, and organizes dry storage and coolers.
• Maintains accurate records for damaged/spoiled merchandise and safety compliance.
