Job summary

Campbell Soup Company in Ashland is hiring a Bakery Processing Operator to run processing and baking equipment, ensure product quality, and follow batch recipes. You will handle raw materials, monitor temperatures, and maintain sanitation and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of production experience; CPT certification is a plus. Overtime may be required, and total rewards include health and wellness benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or 1 year production experience in a manufacturing environment.
• CPT (Certified Production Technician) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates the processing/baking equipment to produce product within QA guidelines.
• Properly mixes ingredients; monitors temperature/moisture and makes adjustments.
• Operates and shuts down equipment including change overs and preventative maintenance.
• Communicates and/or escalates quality issues to the team.
• Reads batch sheets and follows recipes with accurate weighing of raw materials.
• Monitors temperatures, mix times, item numbers and weights; adjusts as needed.
• Monitors for possible foreign matter and follows sanitation procedures.
• Tracks and disposes of waste; moves raw ingredients with forklift or pallet jack.
• Maintains material levels and coordinates raw material needs.

Education
