Job summary

McKee Foods Corporation, a longtime leader in family bakery brands, seeks a Process Operator II in Collegedale, TN. This 2nd shift, part-time position (Sunday-Thursday, 4:00PM-8:00PM) involves monitoring production, quality checks, and equipment troubleshooting to support safe, efficient manufacturing of bake products at Plant 5, Line 501.

The role requires lifting up to 100 lbs, adherence to safety protocols, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain a LTO license.
• Willingness to be flexible and perform tasks as needed.
• Self-motivated with initiative and ability to work without direct supervision.
• Basic math skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and be organized.
• Ability to frequently lift and move 50-100 lbs.
• Steel-toed safety shoes.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and work with management and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Makes mixes in the area of brew, dough, forming, proofing, frying, and glazing the product to ensure proper production.
• Operates make-up table, fryer, and proofer following formulas.
• Keeps accurate inventory maintenance and documentation of lot numbers.
• Maintains clean and orderly work area and minimizes waste.
• Documents production reports and enters measurement data.
• Assists with setup and shutdown of line and equipment as needed.
