Job summary

Sam's West, Inc. is seeking a Bakery/Packager Associate to prepare fresh baked items daily, assist members with bakery orders, and maintain a clean, ready-for-service area. You will work in a fast-paced club environment, following recipes, wrapping and labeling merchandise, and ensuring quality and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team; communicate with team members; adapt to business needs to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert: Prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs; follows recipes; wraps, labels, and stores merchandise; ensures food safety standards and inventory management.
• Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience; uses handheld tech for production decisions, merchandising orders, and training.
• Be an Owner: Maintains clean work area; ensures quality and date control; safeguards fragile items; minimizes waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; proper packaging and labeling.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club by delivering high quality service and products; demonstrates energy and commitment.
