Job summary

King’s Hawaiian is seeking a dependable packaging line worker to remove finished bakery products from conveyors and pack them into baskets or master cases. You will monitor the packaging line to prevent jams, clear issues safely, and move completed goods to pallets while inspecting for quality.

The role requires at least 1 year in a warehouse/production setting, basic math skills, and the ability to read and write in English.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
At least 1 year of general warehouse/production experience.
Ability to read safety rules and operate procedures in English.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English.
Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

Responsibilities

Removes finished bakery products from conveyors and packs them into baskets or master cases.
Observes packaging lines to prevent jams and clears jams following safety rules.
Moves filled cases to pallets and storage areas, inspects for damage or spec conformity.
Transports pallets, assists with case dividers, and supplies empty cases as needed.
Maintains clean work area and reports equipment issues to supervisor.
Operates tape machines, ensures proper sealing and correct barcodes and lot numbers.
Supports on-the-job training for new employees and promotes safety.
Follows all safety procedures and reports hazards or incidents promptly.
