Job summary

Sam's Club in Matthews, NC is seeking a reliable Bakery/Packager to prepare fresh baked items daily, follow recipes, wrap and label merchandise, and keep the area clean and guest-ready. There are opportunities to assist members with bakery orders and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You will juggle several duties, use handheld devices to support production decisions, and uphold food safety standards and proper packaging.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team and support business needs.
• Be an Expert: prepare bakery merchandise by following recipes, wrapping, labeling and storing merchandise according to policies; ensure food safety standards and inventory management.
• Be a Techie: use handheld devices to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and support production decisions.
• Be an Owner: maintain work area, ensure quality/date control, prevent waste, assist members with purchases, package and label merchandise correctly.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: promote high-quality service and products and demonstrate energy and commitment.
