Job summary

Northeast Grocery is seeking a Bakery Associate to help oversee daily bakery operations and ensure top-quality product availability. You will support the Bakery Manager with merchandising, sanitation and training, while serving customers with speed and care.

The role requires basic computer skills and 6-12 months of related experience, with a focus on safety and consistent, friendly service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations.
• Ensure merchandising, sanitation and training policies are followed.
• Inspect bakery products for availability and quality to maximize sales.
• Oversee department operations in the absence of the Bakery Manager.
• Train and develop bakery associates to support standards.
• Maintain compliance with company safety and sanitation policies.
