Job summary

A family-owned bakery located in Wisconsin is seeking a Mixer Apprentice to assist in combining raw materials within the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work on their feet for long periods, and keep up with fast-paced production. Responsibilities include combining ingredients, moving large containers, inspecting materials, and sealing ingredients for storage. This position offers shifts around the clock and pays $15/hour, plus an additional $1/hour for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to move to 50 pounds individually and additional pounds using team lifts.
• Ability to work at steady and continuous pace and to keep up with manufacturing production.
• Ability to be on feet all day and perform walking, stooping, and bending functions as required.
• Slip-resistant and steel-toed shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Combines ingredients at a steady and continuous pace.
• Moves large mixing troughs and other types of containers throughout the facility.
• Inspects all ingredient containers, bags, and boxes for loose or foreign materials.
• Seals and properly returns all partially used ingredients to the warehouse.
