Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years’ bakery experience.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of bakery products.
• Proficient merchandising skills to plan and execute displays.
• Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word and email.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all bakery orders including pre-sells and supplies.
• Develop and maintain creative store layout and product merchandising for bakery items.
• Ensure a fresh and appealing display of bakery items throughout the day by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked.
• Maintain tags and signs and ensure price accuracy.
• Control and record shrink; meet or exceed shrink goals.
• Assist guests with product recommendations and locations; fulfill special orders.
• Prepare, plan and execute period end inventories.
• Maintain backroom organization and seasonal merchandising plans to boost sales.
• Follow health, sanitation and safe work practices.
