Job summary

Lowes Foods in Murrells Inlet, SC, is seeking a Bakery Department Supervisor to lead guest service, merchandising and daily bakery operations. You will manage staff, monitor inventory, meet budget goals and maintain product quality and sanitation standards.

Ideal candidates bring strong team leadership, excellent guest service, and the ability to train and develop associates while working cross-functionally with store management to ensure a positive shopping experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure bakery department operates in guest service, merchandising, and department standards.
• Meet budgeted sales, shrink, and profits for the bakery department.
• Maintain inventory levels and supplies.
• Operate the department per merchandising and operational guidelines.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to staff.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service as needed.
• Maintain department labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Make PA announcements.

To supervise and ensure that Lowes Foods guest service, merchandising programs, and departmental operation is maintained in the bakery department.
