Albertsons Companies seeks a Bakery Department Manager to lead daily bakery operations, ensuring quality, freshness, and exceptional customer service. You will drive production planning, merchandising, and staff development in a fast-paced environment to boost sales and store success.

You will oversee scheduling, inventory, and compliance, while coaching associates and maintaining a customer-focused department that reflects our standards and values.

Qualifications

• Relevant retail or food service management experience.
• Ability to oversee bakery operations and staff.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Bakery Department operations, ensuring high standards for quality, freshness, presentation, and customer service.
• Foster a welcoming, customer-focused environment and resolve customer concerns.
• Plan and execute daily bakery production based on sales trends and seasonal demand.
• Execute merchandising plans, promotions, planograms, and seasonal programs.
• Manage department sales, labor, scheduling, ordering, inventory, and shrink.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop bakery associates while promoting teamwork and accountability.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Bakery Department operations, ensuring high standards for quality, freshness, presentation, and customer service

• Plan and execute daily bakery production based on sales trends and seasonal demand
• Execute merchandising plans, promotions, planograms, and seasonal programs
