Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA in Reading is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective upkeep on process equipment to keep lines running safely and efficiently.

You will learn and demonstrate competency while progressing through training programs; lifting up to 50 pounds and working in a hot plant environment are required, with use of power tools and shop equipment expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to use power tools, hand tools, drill presses, shop tools, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret documents in English.
• Able to sit, stand, stoop and have use of hand motor coordination regularly.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and work in a hot environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Learn and demonstrate competency in maintaining and troubleshooting process equipment.
• Complete all assigned work orders within the time allotted.
