Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA in Upper Macungie Township, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep bakery equipment safe, functional and efficient. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, and progress through training programs.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to use power tools, hand tools, drill presses, shop tools.
• Ability to read and interpret documents in English.
• Able to use a variety of communication methods on frequent basis.
• Use a notebook computer and standard office equipment.
• Able to sit, stand, stoop and have use of hand motor coordination regularly.
• Capable of moving up and down building stairways in a multi-level plant.
• Worker will be exposed to hazards of machinery in a baking environment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods in a hot environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to keep equipment safe, functional, and efficient.
• Learn and demonstrate competency at maintaining and troubleshooting process equipment during training.
• Complete all assigned work orders within the time allotted.
