Festival Foods in Marshfield, WI is seeking a Bakery Lead Cake Decorator to lead our cake decorating team. Under the Bakery Manager, you will train decorators, schedule work, and ensure high-quality, beautifully decorated bakery items.

You will engage guests, handle special orders, maintain safety and cleanliness, and contribute to memorable bakery experiences for celebrations and everyday occasions.

Responsibilities

• Teach, guide and support cake decorators to uphold Festival culture and standards.
• Train new Cake Decorators and provide ongoing guidance.
• Schedule weekly work and conduct performance reviews.
• Assist guests with items, special orders, packaging and pricing.
• Maintain department standards and coordinate with Bakery Manager.
• Assist decorators with topping, finishing and decoration; manage supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety logs; ensure 10am/5pm targets are met.
• Answer questions from team and handle phone inquiries with etiquette.
• Ensure regular attendance and arrange replacements for absences.
• Support the team with other duties as assigned.
