Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service in our Fresh departments. You will provide product knowledge, assist customers, and help maintain attractive displays in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes customer-first service, teamwork, and the use of store technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Provide support for other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
• Every shift, contribute to a smoothly running store and returning customers.
