Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Bakery Food Associate for the Early Morning Shift to help prepare and stock fresh bakery items and deliver excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes friendly interactions, product knowledge, and efficient service in a fast-paced environment. You will work the 3:00 AM - 11:30 AM shift, up to 32 hours per week, with weekly pay and opportunities for advancement and education support.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
