Meijer Inc. is seeking a Bakery Food Associate for an early morning shift to provide exceptional customer service while preparing and stocking bakery items. The role supports Fresh departments, helping maintain attractive displays and a clean, welcoming store environment.

You’ll work in a fast-paced retail setting, starting at 3:00 AM, with up to 32 hours per week. Prior bakery or retail experience helps, but a reliable, team-oriented attitude is essential.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
