Job summary

• Know bakery items, descriptions and ingredients to answer guest questions

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate pricing and dating of bakery products
• Wrap and bag bakery items per store policies
• Merchandise displays and rotate stock in the bakery department
• Assist customers with product knowledge and recommendations
• Process special orders and suggestive selling where appropriate
• Keep cases clean, organized and visually appealing
• Assist in reducing losses through proper product handling
• Collaborate with team to meet sales goals
• Comply with all store policies and directives
• Support training and development opportunities within the team
• Maintain knowledge of bakery items, descriptions, and ingredients
• Contribute to positive morale within the department and store
