Job summary

SA Hospitality Group, Niagara Falls, NY, is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, utensils, and kitchen gear in a fast-paced bakery setting. You will operate dishwashers, hand wash when needed, and keep production areas tidy while following safety guidelines.

This role requires physical ability, teamwork, and English communication for direction and safety. Experience is not required; flexible schedule and reliability are valued.

Qualifications

• The ability to work as part of a team and personal cleanliness.
• Very basic food handling, preparation, and cleaning skills are welcomed.
• Time management and ability to work under pressure in high-volume production.
• Ability to communicate and understand direction in English for safety and coordination.
• Flexible schedule and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reading and speaking comprehension skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Wash sheet pans, dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwasher machine or by hand.
• Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Place clean pans, utensils, and cooking equipment in assigned storage areas.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Organize and label all produce deliveries (dairy, flour, etc.).
• Deep cleaning of equipment – ovens, floors, counters, freezers & refrigerators, etc.
• Clean and maintain grease trap (every few days as assigned).
• Clean the entire production area and other assigned areas of the bakery (sweeping, mopping, etc.).
• Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned by manager or chef (stairs, sinks, bathrooms, etc.).
• Manage inventory of toilet supplies.
