Qualifications

• Two years Bakery Department experience or current Bakery Manager role.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Strong organization, administration and math skills.
• Knowledge of bakery products, safety rules and merchandising techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provides customers with an exceptional shopping experience by training and holding staff accountable for service quality.
• Drives department profitability through sales, cost control and merchandise optimization.
• Leads bakery staff to achieve department goals and standard of performance.
• Implements bakery display and planograms to emphasize fresh products and seasonality.
• Oversees inventory, rotation, shrink and labeling to maintain accuracy and freshness.
• Ensures compliance with food safety, sanitation and hazard regulations across the department.
