Albertsons Companies is seeking a Bakery Department Manager to oversee the daily bakery operations, ensure high standards of quality and presentation, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead a team, plan production based on sales trends, execute merchandising plans, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations while promoting teamwork and accountability.

Qualifications

• Experience in bakery operations and high-volume production.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in hot and cold temperature environments.
• Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Bakery Department operations, ensuring high standards for quality, freshness, presentation, and customer service
• Foster a welcoming, customer-focused environment and resolve customer concerns and special orders
• Plan and execute daily bakery production based on sales trends and seasonal demand
• Execute merchandising plans, promotions, planograms, and seasonal programs
• Manage department sales, labor, scheduling, ordering, inventory, and shrink
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements
• Hire, train, coach, and develop bakery associates while promoting teamwork and accountability
