Job summary

ShopRite of Succasunna is seeking a Bakery Manager to direct and supervise all Bakery Department functions and its associates to achieve sales, profit, customer experience, and engagement goals under the guidance of the General Store Manager.

Minimum qualifications include English proficiency, basic math, ability to lift 25 lbs regularly up to 60 lbs occasionally, and strong leadership for department goals. This on-site role requires adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for a full shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 60 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and tolerate dust/cleaning agents.
• Ability to climb a ladder to access overhead storage.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Ability to lead associates to achieve department goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Bakery Department functions to meet sales, profit, and customer experience goals.
• Ensure safety, food safety compliance, and proper handling procedures.
• Provide training and leadership to department associates.
• Maintain product presentation, pricing accuracy, and stock levels.
• Uphold ShopRite service priorities and ensure efficient operations.
