The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Bakery Department Supervisor at our Fort Atkinson location. You will lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service, maintain safety and quality standards, and drive department performance.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, inventory management, and implementing promotions, while upholding Kroger’s values and customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Current food handlers permit once employed.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates with a positive attitude.
• Establish department performance goals and empower associates to meet targets.
• Develop scheduling to manage customer volume.
• Train associates and participate in performance appraisals.
• Create an inviting environment and assist customers with questions about bakery products.
• Review and ensure product quality and freshness; take appropriate action.
• Plan and implement department business plans and promotions with store management.
• Monitor inventory and CAO processes; ensure accurate pricing and shelf tags.
• Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers; document logs.
• Enforce safety programs and report safety risks or incidents.
