GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY in Fort Dodge, IA is seeking a Part-Time Bakery Delivery Driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of bakery products to Fareway locations, and to perform in-store bakery tasks when not delivering. The role requires reliability, the ability to follow maps, and strong interpersonal skills.

You will load and unload, verify deliveries, maintain inventory records, and cooperate with store staff to ensure quality and freshness of products. Weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Available to work Saturdays and mornings.
• Valid driver's license with no DOT restrictions.
• Pass background check and driving record.
• Ability to understand and follow maps and directions.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

JOB FUNCTION:

As a Bakery Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our bakery. Your expertise in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of our bakery products to various Fareway locations, while performing in store bakery responsibilities when not delivering bakery product is essential to our commitment in delivering high-quality baked goods . Prospective employees should be outgoing, friendly, hard-working, dependable and a team player.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Efficiently transport and deliver bakery items to Fareway store locations
• Load products into and out of truck
• Responsible for ensuring products stay safe during transportation and delivery
• Communicate with store personnel regarding bakery products that are being delivered to location
• Perform in store bakery responsibilities including prepare bakery products, pack and label items for sale
• Record and report accurate inventory counts
• Other duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work Saturdays and mornings
• Valid driver’s license, with no DOT restrictions
• Must pass background check and driving report
• Ability to work with others
• Ability to understand and follow maps and instructions
• Good interpersonal skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• On feet up to 8+ hours per day
