Job summary

Frost Bake Shop in Memphis is seeking a delivery driver to support daily bakery product deliveries between the bakery, retail locations and special event venues. You will manage vehicle operations, plan routes and ensure timely, courteous service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain/maintain a CDL license. Prior delivery experience is preferred, with exposure to physical and outdoor work conditions. Weekend availability may be required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operates company-owned and/or leased vehicles for the delivery, pick-up and relocation of bakery products and other supplies/materials.
• Plans daily deliveries by organizing loads and routing.
• Performs required before-, during-, and after-operation 'user maintenance'; provides required receipts and reports.
• Ensures outstanding guest service by delivering exemplary customer service during delivery operations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (including Required Licenses Or Certifications)

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to successfully obtain/maintain CDL license.
• 1 or more year(s) as a delivery driver is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Ability to develop and maintain productive and positive relationships with vendors, customers, and other employees.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal/external customers.
• Strong organizational skills for the performance of a variety of administrative duties. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

ENVIRONMENT & WORKING CONDITIONS

This job operates in outside weather conditions, with exposure to extreme heat, wet and humid conditions, as well as extreme cold weather.
