Responsibilities

• Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) will prepare items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples and inform customers of bakery/deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products and correct portion sizes to prevent shrink.
• Recommend deli/bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Use bakery equipment safely and follow company guidelines.
• Prepare foods according to recipes and temperature logs.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Maintain temperatures in cases and coolers and keep logs.
• Greet and assist customers, answer questions, and respond to product inquiries.
