Responsibilities

• Prepare bakery items per customer requests using appropriate equipment and guidelines.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover items or products they inquire about.
• Inform customers of bakery and/or deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products and correct portions to prevent shrink.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Use bakery equipment (refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens) per guidelines.
• Prepare foods according to recipes and temperature logs; follow cooking instructions.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise and monitor temperatures.
