Responsibilities

• Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Use bakery equipment (refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens) per guidelines.
• Prepare foods according to logs and cooking instructions.
• Measure and mix ingredients using kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report discrepancies to the department manager.
• Understand store layout and locate products on request.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Know products in department and answer questions.
• Maintain inventory/stock levels and note discrepancies.
• Ensure proper temperatures and maintain logs.
• Promote trust and respect among associates.
