Responsibilities

• Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) will prepare items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
• Inform customers of bakery/deli specials and ensure freshness.
• Provide customers with fresh products in correct portions.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Use bakery equipment (refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens) per guidelines.
• Prepare foods according to temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Measure and mix ingredients with appropriate utensils and equipment.
• Pack and inventory ingredients, label merchandise, and check stock.
• Monitor product quality, review sell-by dates, and take action.
