Responsibilities

• Prepare bakery and deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
• Inform customers of bakery and deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products and correct portions to prevent shrinkage.
• Recommend items to customers to meet their needs.
• Use bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to guidelines.
• Prepare foods following safety and quality standards.
• Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients as per recipes.
• Label, package, and inventory ingredients and products.
• Check product quality and review "sell by" dates.
• Maintain proper temperatures and logs for cases and coolers.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist customers and respond to inquiries about products.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or accidents.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
• Support diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with disabilities, and seniors.
• Perform essential job functions with or without accommodations.
