  1. Prepare bakery/deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
  2. Offer product samples to promote new items or answer inquiries.
  3. Inform customers of specials and promotions.
  4. Provide fresh, correctly portioned products to prevent shrinkage.
  5. Recommend items to ensure customer satisfaction.
  6. Use bakery equipment safely and according to guidelines.
  7. Follow food temperature logs and cooking instructions.
  8. Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients as per recipes.
  9. Package, label, and inventory ingredients and products.
  10. Check product quality and review 'sell by' dates.
  11. Properly use kitchen equipment like refrigerators, slicers, ovens, etc.
  12. Label, stock, and inventory products.
  13. Report discrepancies in orders or shipments.
  14. Maintain knowledge of store layout and product locations.
  15. Stay updated on current and upcoming promotions.
  16. Respond knowledgeably to customer questions about products.
  17. Monitor inventory and stocking conditions.
  18. Maintain proper temperatures and logs in cases and coolers.
  19. Create a welcoming environment for customers.
  20. Adhere to food safety and safety procedures.
  21. Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment issues.
  22. Support preventive maintenance and report repairs needed.
  23. Report accidents involving customers or staff.
  24. Work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
