1. Prepare bakery/deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
2. Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
3. Inform customers of bakery/deli specials.
4. Provide customers with fresh, correctly portioned products to prevent shrinkage.
5. Recommend items to customers to meet their needs.
6. Use bakery equipment according to guidelines.
7. Follow food safety and temperature protocols.
8. Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients as per recipes.
9. Package, label, and inventory ingredients and products.
10. Check product quality and freshness, review 'sell by' dates.
11. Use kitchen equipment properly.
12. Label, stock, and inventory merchandise.
13. Report discrepancies in ordering/shipping.
14. Know store layout and assist customers in locating products.
15. Stay updated on ads and promotions.
16. Maintain product knowledge and respond to customer inquiries.
17. Monitor inventory and stocking conditions.
18. Maintain proper temperatures and logs.
19. Create a welcoming environment for customers.
20. Adhere to safety and food regulations.
21. Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment issues.
22. Assist in maintaining a safe and cooperative work environment.
