• Offering product samples in Bakery/Deli to help customers discover new items.
• Informing customers of bakery and deli specials.
• Providing fresh products ordered by customers, ensuring correct portions to prevent shrink.
• Recommending deli or bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Using bakery equipment according to guidelines, including refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens.
• Preparing foods per temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Measuring, preparing, and mixing ingredients using kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Packaging, labeling, and inventorying ingredients and merchandise.
• Checking product quality, reviewing sell-by dates, and taking appropriate actions.
• Properly using kitchen equipment like stoves, scales, fryers, and steamers.
• Labeling, stocking, and inventory management.
• Reporting discrepancies in product ordering or shipping.
• Understanding store layout and assisting customers in locating products.
• Staying current with store promotions and ads.
