Responsibilities:

  • Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
  • Inform customers of bakery and deli specials.
  • Provide fresh products ordered by customers, ensuring correct portions.
  • Recommend bakery or deli items to meet customer needs.
  • Use bakery equipment safely and according to guidelines.
  • Prepare foods following temperature logs and cooking instructions.
  • Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients as per recipes.
  • Package, label, and inventory ingredients and products.
  • Check product quality and review 'sell by' dates.
  • Properly use all kitchen equipment.
  • Label, stock, and inventory merchandise.
  • Report discrepancies in product orders or shipments.
  • Know the store layout to assist customers efficiently.
  • Stay updated on current and upcoming promotions.
  • Maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Monitor inventory and stocking conditions.
  • Ensure proper temperatures and maintain logs.
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Adhere to food safety and safety procedures.
  • Report unsafe conditions or accidents.
  • Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs.
  • Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
