  • Offering product samples to help customers discover new items.
  • Informing customers of bakery and deli specials.
  • Providing customers with fresh products and accurate portions to prevent shrinkage.
  • Recommending bakery or deli items based on customer needs.
  • Using bakery equipment safely and according to guidelines.
  • Preparing foods following recipes and safety standards.
  • Measuring, preparing, and mixing ingredients properly.
  • Packaging, labeling, and inventorying ingredients and products.
  • Checking product quality and freshness, reviewing 'sell by' dates.
  • Maintaining proper temperatures and logs in cases and coolers.
  • Stocking, labeling, and managing inventory.
  • Reporting discrepancies and issues to management.
  • Understanding store layout and assisting customers in locating products.
  • Staying informed about current and upcoming promotions.
  • Maintaining product knowledge and responding to customer inquiries.
  • Ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met.
  • Practicing safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions.
  • Performing equipment inspections and maintenance.
