• Provide customers with ordered products, ensuring correct portions to prevent shrinkage.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Use bakery equipment safely and according to guidelines.
• Prepare foods following recipes and food safety standards.
• Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients accurately.
• Properly package, label, and inventory ingredients and products.
• Check product quality and freshness, reviewing 'sell by' dates.
• Maintain and operate kitchen equipment properly.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise accurately.
• Report discrepancies in product orders or shipments.
• Understand store layout to assist customers efficiently.
• Stay updated on current and upcoming promotions and advertisements.
• Maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer inquiries with suggestions.
• Monitor inventory levels and conditions, noting discrepancies.
• Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers, maintaining logs.
• Foster a respectful and trustworthy environment among staff.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers by being attentive and helpful.
