Responsibilities

• Must have thorough knowledge of bakery products, prices, recipes and uses.
• Assist customers with orders and engage in suggestive selling.
• Weigh, wrap, and process customer orders.
• Answer the telephone and take orders when necessary.
• Set up advertising displays or arrange merchandise to promote sales.
• Package, stock, display, and merchandise bakery goods per standards.
• Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, counters, displays and floors.
• Follow FIFO rotation and label leftover products; use leftovers before opening new items.
