Job summary

Meijer Bakery Clerk in Illinois is seeking a proactive team member to deliver exceptional customer service in our Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers, share product knowledge, and maintain appealing displays while stocking and merchandising to standard.

You will work in a dynamic store environment, stay physically active, and follow food safety procedures. Prior retail or food service experience helps but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
