Job summary

Cosentino’s Price Chopper #117 in Gardner, KS is seeking a Bakery Clerk to assist customers, produce, stock and package bakery items, and maintain attractive displays in a friendly, efficient manner.

You will report to the Bakery Manager in a non-exempt, part-time role. A high school diploma is preferred; a food handling permit must be obtained within 14 days. Training is provided to ensure safe, compliant operation of bakery tasks.

Qualifications

• Food handling permit must be obtained within first 14 days of employment.
• Completion of ongoing training as listed on Cosentino’s Learning Plan.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by filling bakery orders at the counter.
• Stock and merchandise bakery products and keep displays clean and full.
• Ensure products are rotated to avoid stale items and follow health regulations.
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely and competently.
• Provide friendly, courteous service and respond to customer questions.
