Job Summary
Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following each item's product handling information using ovens and/or other equipment. Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts based on bakery production chart recommendations, including safe handling and storage instructions. Maintains all cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Answer questions, recommend bakery items, take special orders, and handle member calls.
- Proof and bake bakery goods, following safety, freshness, and handling policies.
- Decorate special orders and case products.
- Rotate, store, and inspect bakery products for quality and safety, managing out-of-date items appropriately.
- Generate labels and price tags, ensuring accurate pricing.
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment and surfaces regularly.
- Operate bakery equipment safely.
- Adhere to club policies and perform other duties as assigned, including cross-departmental work.
- Maintain full attendance as a job requirement.
Qualifications:
- Experience in bakery or customer service preferred.
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
- At least 18 years old.
Environmental Conditions:
- Primarily moving on non-hard surfaces, with occasional bending, handling, reaching, and stooping.
- Frequently lift up to 30 pounds; may need assistance with heavier objects.
- Work in a temperature-controlled environment with exposure to cold and heat from freezers, ovens, and coolers.
- Potential exposure to cleaning agents.
