Job Summary
Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following each item's product handling information using ovens and/or other equipment. Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts based on bakery production chart recommendations, including safe handling and storage instructions. Maintains all cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items; handle member calls and special orders.
- Proof and bake bakery goods, following product handling info and production charts.
- Decorate special orders and case products.
- Rotate and store bakery products, ensuring safety and freshness.
- Inspect and store shipments; ensure products meet quality standards.
- Generate labels and price tickets; ensure accurate pricing.
- Sanitize equipment and surfaces regularly.
- Operate bakery equipment safely.
- Maintain club policies and perform other duties as assigned.
- Regular attendance is essential.
Qualifications
- Experience in bakery or customer service preferred.
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Environmental Conditions
- Primarily moving about non-hard surfaces; occasional bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Frequently lift objects up to 30 pounds; may require assistance for heavier objects.
- Indoor environment with exposure to temperature extremes from equipment.
- Possible exposure to cleaning agents.
The estimated pay range for this position is $17.75-$21.30, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
