Job summary

El Super #57 in Riverside, CA is seeking a Bakery Clerk to join the store operations team. Under supervision from the Bakery Manager, you will provide customer service, assist with bakery purchases, restock and rotate displays, and help with special orders.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally, a Food Handler Card or equivalent, and a commitment to a fast-paced grocery environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one or small group settings.
• Follow detailed written or oral instructions.
• Lift up to 25 lbs regularly, up to 60 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous service to bakery customers.
• Assist with bakery purchases and maintain shelves and displays.
• Take special orders and coordinate with the Baker for items to bake or decorate.
• Help with department cleaning and sanitation as part of daily tasks.
