Job summary

El Super is seeking a Bakery Clerk for the Arleta store (#12 Arleta, CA). You will provide friendly customer service, stock and rotate bakery displays, and assist customers with special orders under the Bakery Manager's guidance.

Responsibilities include cleaning, coordinating with the Baker on items to bake or decorate, and maintaining department cleanliness. A Food Handler Card is required for food-related roles, and lifting up to 60 pounds is part of the job.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, short memos.
• Write simple correspondence and communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
• Regularly lift up to 60 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service in the Bakery department.
• Clean and stock shelves, rotate self-serve displays, and assist with special orders.
• Coordinate with the Baker on items needing baking or decoration and assist in department upkeep.
• Maintain department cleanliness and assist with floor care as needed.
